What is LifeSpheres?

LifeSpheres is an internet enabled service that helps members improve communications and manage their time more efficiently in order to reduce day to day life stress. By using the LifeSpheres secure platform, members can easily bring together key people and information in their lives to facilitate personal master scheduling and single point communications.

How does LifeSpheres work?

LifeSpheres, allows you as a member to create a personalized community where you can communicate with friends, family, their friends, etc worldwide; express yourself in multiple formats and manage key events and information in your life using a set of specialized tools developed for this purpose.

How can I use LifeSpheres?

Using LifeSpheres is easy! First you create a quick profile. Then, you set up and/or join groups that are of interest to you, post blogs, view and/or plan events, manage and/or set up your calendar, participate in forums and/or utilize the classified advertisements. Finally, you invite your support network to join you. A support network consists of friends, family, teachers, coaches and other people who you interact with daily. Though you invite these people to join LifeSpheres, you control your level of interaction with them and in which of your groups you would like to involve them in. Having a broad support network on LifeSpheres within typing range and, at your option, on the same calendar can really help you reduce life stress through better, more efficient communications. Our tools allow you to browse and search people connected to you through your network of friends, family and supporters, schedule and manage group and personal events, receive alerts and reminders, interact publicly or privately, post rosters, schedules, notes and bulletins as well as upload photographs and other documents. All this can be done privately for a variety of your different groups. Your groups can be managed as open only to members you invite (private), available by invitation only (moderated) or open to anyone in the world (public). You can also participate in other people's groups and events at their option.

Can you give some examples of things people can do on LifeSpheres?

LifeSpheres has coined the term "Collorgicate" (collaborate, organize and communicate) to help capture how flexible LifeSpheres can be in assisting you with managing almost any aspect of your daily life interactions. On LifeSpheres you can "Collorgicate" around your children's activities (youth clubs, teams, educational activities, parties, etc.), your own activities (school, work, books, wine, food, hobbies, church, volunteer activities) or any combination of life activities that are important to you. LifeSpheres works well to help you multi-task and manage multiple communications that may or may not be related to each other, but are important to you. For example; a youth sports mom, dad or coach could set up a private group for the team on LifeSpheres consisting of the parents of the players. Within this private group the parents, players and coaches can communicate via email, chat, instant message, post rosters, snack schedules, pictures, schedule email alerts about upcoming games and practices, announce absences, blog their game experiences, set up forums, sell or barter items in the classified sections and receive personalized news...all on Lifespheres.

Isn't LifeSpheres really for dating purposes?

No! LifeSpheres is a network that helps you to connect with people you care about to improve communications and life management. You can meet other people on LifeSpheres and establish a variety of different relationships, including dating, but LifeSpheres is not a dating site it is a support community. There are many other sites on the internet that are designed just for dating purposes and they would be a better choice for individuals who are looking for a dating community to tap into.

As a member of LifeSpheres, how many people can I invite to participate in my support network?

There is no limit on the number of people you can have in your support network. LifeSpheres was developed to support you with the tools and resources you need. We understand that your life interactions are composed of various spheres of influence and interaction with a variety of people who serve a variety of needs. Our site is designed to let you interact with these people efficiently in order to enhance your quality of life. We encourage you to invite as many people as you want to support you.

What changes are planned for LifeSpheres?

That will largely depend on you and your needs. Though we have a number of updates, enhancements and releases planned, we want to make sure that we are delivering what our members truly want and need. This is a Beta launch which means that we will be tailoring any updates and releases to our members' needs as obtained from their feedback.
